Ms. Pornpimol Aye Kodsup, MPH, MSc is a Managing Director for TFAS, originally from Thailand. She is a research scientist and artist, specialized in Public Health and photography, respectively. She is also a certified master level black belt in Taekwondo by Kukkiwon and USA Taekwondo with 10+ year of teaching and program managing experiences.
Aye directly supervises the TFAS’ international outreach project in Thailand with a goal to provide sustainable resources such as scholarship, mentorship, nutrition supplies, health and hygiene knowledge, and health check-up routine to children and families in underserved areas. Her personal goal is to promote health prevention strategies to the community to reduce commonly found diseases/conditions such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, etc. using participatory arts such as martial arts and dance. Aye is currently a PhD candidate at Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, Tulane University. She is partaking in several research projects funded by NIH, NASA, State of Louisiana, and Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
